The
Rock - In
The Wilderness

God
Liveth - and Blessed Be My Rock.
Exalted
Be God
Of The Rock - of My Salvation.
Samson
- Dwelt In The Top - of The Rock Etam.
Then
Three Thousand Men of Judah - went to the top of The Rock Etam
and
Said
To Samson - Knowest Thou Not that The Philistines are rulers
over us ?
O
Come Let Us - Sing to God
Let
Us Make A Joyful Noise - to The Rock of Our Salvation.
Let Us Come Before His
Presence - with Thanks and Giving.
Make
A Joyful Noise To Him - with Psalms.
For
God Is A Great God and A Great King - above all gods.
Harden Not Your Heart - as in The Provocations and
As
In The Day Of Temptation - in The Wilderness
Blessed
Be God - My Strength
That
Teacheth My Hands - to war and my fingers to fight
My Goodness My Fortress My High
Tower - My Deliverer My Shield
He
In Whom I Trust
- who subdueth the Peoples under Me.
Bow Thy Heavens O God - and come
down
Touch
The Mountains
- and they shall smoke.
Cast Forth Lightning - scatter them shoot out thine arrows and
destroy them.
Send Thine Hand From Above - rid me and deliver me out of great
waters
From
The Hands - of strange children
Whose Mouth Speaketh Vanity - their right hand is a right hand
of falsehood.
I Will Sing A New Song To Thee O God
- upon a Psaltery and
An
Instrument Of Ten Strings - will I sing praises to thee.
That
Our Sons May Be - as Plants grown
up in their youth
That
Our Daughters May Be As Corner Stones Polished.
After
The Similitude - of a Palace.
Round
About Their Habitations - They Remembered.
That
God Is Their Rock and The
High God
- Their Redeemer.
For Their Heart Was Not Right - With
Him.
Neither
Were They Stedfast - in His Covenant.
He Being Full Of Compassion - forgave
their iniquity and destroyed them not
Yea
Many A Time Turned He His Anger
Away - and did not stir up all His
Wrath.
For
He Remembered - that they were
but flesh.
A
Wind That Passeth Away - and cometh not again.
How Oft Did They Provoke Him in
The Wilderness
and Grieve
Him in The
Desert !
Yea
They Turned Back - and tempted God
and
Limited
- The Holy One Of Hebrews.
They Remembered Not - His Hand.
Nor
The Day When He Delivered Them
- from the enemy.
How He - Had Wrought His
Signs In Egypt
Oh
That I Had In The Wilderness -
a lodging Place of wayfaring Men
That
I Might Leave My People - and go
from them for they be all adulterers
An
Assembly - of treacherous Men.
They
Sinned Yet More - against Him.
By
Provoking The Most High - in The
Wilderness.
They
Tempted God In Their Heart - by
asking meat for their lust.
Yea
They Spake Against God - they said
Can
God furnish a
Table in The Wilderness ?
Behold He Smote The Rock - that
the waters gushed out and
The
Streams Overflowed - can He give
bread also ?
Can
He Provide Food
- for His Peoples ?
He
Clave The
Rocks In The Wilderness - and
Gave
Them Drink As - out of the great depths.
He Brought Streams Also - out of
The Rock.
Caused
Waters To Run Down - like rivers.
He Brought Them Forth - with silver
and gold and
There
Was Not One Feeble Person - among their Tribes.
He
Spread A Cloud For A Covering
- and to give Light in the night.
The People Asked - He brought Quails
and
Satisfied
Them With - The Bread Of Heaven.
He Opened The Rock - and the waters
gushed out
They
Ran In The Dry Places - like a river.
Moreover
Brethren - I Would Not.
That
Ye Should Not - Be Ignorant.
How
That All Our Fathers - were under The
Cloud and
All
Passed Through
- The Sea.
We
Are All Baptized - to Moses in The Cloud
On
The Sea Did All Eat - The Same Spiritual
Food.
Did
All Drink - The Same Spiritual Drink.
For
They Drank Of That Spiritual Rock - that followed them and
That
Rock - was God.
With Many Of Them God Was Not -
well pleased for
They
Were Overthrown - in The
Wilderness.

My
Son Attend To My Wisdom
- and
Bow
Thine Ear - to My Understanding
That Thou Mayest Regard Discretion - and
that thy lips may Keep Knowledge.
Will
The Unicorn Be Willing To Serve Thee
- or abide by thy crib ?
Canst Thou Bind The Unicorn With
His Band - in the furrow ?
Or
Will He Harrow The Valleys - after
Thee ?
Wilt Thou Trust Him Because His
Strength - is Great ?
Or
Wilt Thou Leave Thy
Labour - to Him ?
Wilt Thou Believe Him - that he
will bring home Thy Seed gather
it into Thy Barn?
What
Time She Lifteth Up Herself On High - she scorneth the horse
and his rider.
Hast Thou Given The Horse - Strength ?
Hast
Thou Clothed His Neck - with Thunder ?
Canst Thou Make Him Afraid - as a grasshopper ?
The
Glory of His Nostrils - is terrible.
He Paweth In The Valley
- and rejoiceth in His
Strength
He
Goeth On To Meet - the armed Men.
He Mocketh At Fear - is not affrighted neither turneth He
back from The Sword.
The Quiver Rattleth Against Him - The
Glittering Spear and The Shield.
He Swalloweth The Ground With Fierceness - and Rage neither
believeth
He
That It Is The Sound Of - The Trumpet.
He Saith Among The Trumpets - Ha
ha and He smelleth at The Battle afar off
The
Thunder Of The Captains
- and The Shouting.
Doth The Hawk Fly By Thy
Wisdom - and stretch her wings toward The
South ?
Doth The Eagle Mount Up At Thy Command
- and make her nest on high ?
She
Dwelleth
- and abideth on The Rock
Upon
The Crag - of The Rock and The Strong Place.
From Thence She Seeketh The Prey
- and Her Eyes behold afar off.
God Of
Hosts Shall Stir Up - a scourge for him.
According
To The Slaughter - of Midian at The Rock of Oreb.
God
Look To The Rock - whence Ye are hewn and
To
The Hole - of the pit whence ye are digged.
Behold
I Am Against Thee - O destroying The Mountain
Saith God.
I
Will Stretch Out Mine Hand Upon Thee - and roll Thee down from
The Rocks
He
Clave The Rock In The
Wilderness
- gave them drink as out of the great depths.
He Brought Streams Also Out Of The
Rock -
Caused
Waters - to run down like rivers.
They Sinned Yet More Against Him
- by provoking The
Most High in The
Wilderness.
They
Tempted gods In Their Heart - by asking meat for their lust.
Yea They Spake Against God
they said
Can
God Furnish A Table in The
Wilderness ?
He
Rained Flesh Also Upon Them - as dust and feathered fowls.
Like
As The Sand - Of The Sea. He
Let It Fall - in the midst of Their Camp
Made His Own People To Go Forth - like sheep
and
Guided
Them In The Wilderness - like
a flock.
Behold He Smote
The Rock - that
The Waters gushed out and
The
Streams Overflowed - can He give
The Bread also ?
Can
He Provide Food
- for His People ?
Though
He Had
Commanded The Clouds - from above
and
Opened
The Doors Of Heaven Had
Rained Down Manna - upon them to eat and
Had
Given Them Of - The Corn of Heaven.
Man Did Eat Angels' Food - He sent
them Food to the full.

I
Will Open Rivers - In High Places The
Fountains in the midst of The Valleys
I
Will Make The Wilderness - a pool
of water the dry land springs of water.
I Will Plant In The Wilderness
- the cedar the shittah tree the myrtle the oil tree.
I
Will Set In The Desert - the fir tree the pine and the box tree
together.
That They May See and Know - and consider and Understand Together
that
The
Hand Of God Hath Done This
- and The Holy One Of Hebrews hath
created it.
Produce
Your Cause - Saith God
For
God Shall Comfort Zion - He Will
comfort all her Waste Places and
He
Will Make Her Wilderness Like Eden
- and her desert like The Garden
Of God
God
Look To The Rock - whence ye are
hewn and
To
The Hole - of the pit whence ye are digged.
O
Thou That Dwellest - in the clefts of The
Rock
That
Holdest The Height - of The Hill
though
Thou Shouldest Make Thy Nest -
as high as the eagle
I
Will Bring Thee Down - from thence Saith
God.
When
The Almighty Was Yet With Me - when My
Children were about Me
When I Washed My Steps With Butter
- and The Rock poured Me out rivers
of oil
Whose
House I Have Made - The
Wilderness and The
Barren Land.
His
Dwellings - The
Range Of The Mountains Is His
Pasture
He
Searcheth After
- every green thing.
As
For You Turn You - and take your journey into The
Wilderness.
Then Ye Answered and Said To Me - We have sinned against God.
We
Will Go Up and Fight According To All - that God
Commanded us.
When
Ye Had Girded On Every Man - His Weapons
Of War
Ye
Were Ready To Go - up into The Hill.
God Said To Me Say To Them - Go
not up neither fight.
For
I Am Not Among
You - lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
So I Spake To You and Ye Would Not Hear - but
Rebelled
Against The Commandments Of God
- and
Went
Presumptuously - up into The Hill.
Amorites
That Dwelt In That Mountain Came
Out - against you and
Chased
You As Bees Do - and destroyed you in Seir even to Hormah.
Ye
Returned and Wept - before God
but
God
Would Not Hearken
To Your Voice - Nor Give Ear to You.
According
To The Slaughter - of Midian at The
Rock of Oreb.
Zion
Said God Hath Forsaken Me - and
God hath forgotten me.
He That Killeth An Ox Is As If He Slew a Man - he that sacrificeth
a lamb
As
If He Cut Off - a dog's neck he that offereth an Oblation
As
If He Offered - swine's blood he that burneth incense as if
he blessed an idol.
Oh
That I Had In The Wilderness -
a lodging Place of wayfaring Men
That
I Might Leave My People - and go
from them for they be all adulterers
An
Assembly - of treacherous Men.
For The Mountains Will I Take Up
A Weeping - and wailing and
For
The Habitations Of - The Wilderness.
A
Lamentation Because - they are burned up
So
That None Can Pass - Through Them.
Neither
Can Men Hear - the voice of the cattle.
Both
The Fowl Of The Heavens - and the
Animals are fled they are gone.
In
The Wilderness
- and Have
Tempted Me Now These Ten Times and
Have Not Hearkened - To My Voice.
They
Shall Die Without Instruction.
In
The Greatness Of His Folly - They
Shall Go astray.
With
Many Of Them God Was Not Well Pleased
For
They
Were Overthrown In The
Wilderness.
