Josiah

Moreover Josiah Kept A Passover To God - in Jerusalem and

They Killed The Passover - on the Fourteenth Day of the First Month.

He Set The Priests In Their Charges - and encouraged them

To The Service Of The House Of God - and

Said To The Levites - that taught all Hebrews that were Holy to God

Put The Holy Ark In The House - that Solomon

The Son Of David King Of Hebrews - did build

It Shall Not Be A Burden - upon your shoulders

Serve Now God - and his People Hebrews and

Prepare Yourselves By The Houses - of your Fathers after your courses

According To The Writing Of - David King of Hebrews and

According To The Writing Of - Solomon his Son.

Stand In The Holy Place - according to

The Divisions Of The Families Of - the Fathers of your Brethren the People and

After The Divisions Of - the Families of the Levites.

So Kill The Passover - and sanctify yourselves and prepare your Brethren

That They May Do According To The Word Of God - by the hand of Moses.

Josiah Gave To The People - of the flock lambs and kids all for the passover offerings

For All That Were Present - to the number of thirty thousand and three thousand bullocks

These Were Of - the King's substance.

His Princes Gave Willingly To The People - to The Priests and to the Levites

Hilkiah and Zechariah - and Jehiel Rulers Of The House Of God

Gave To The Priests For The Passover - offerings two thousand and six hundred

Small Cattle - and three hundred oxen.

Conaniah Also - and Shemaiah and Nethaneel his Brethren and Hashabiah and

Jeiel and Jozabad Chief Of - the Levites gave to the Levites for passover offerings

Five Thousand Small Cattle - and five hundred oxen.

So The Service Was Prepared - and The Priests stood in their place and

The Levites In Their Courses - according to the King's Commandment.

They Killed The Passover - and the Priests sprinkled the blood from their hands and

The Levites Flayed - them.

They Removed The Burnt Offerings - that they might give

According To The Divisions Of - the Families of the Peoples to offer to God

As It Is Written - in The Book Of Moses.

So Did They - with the oxen.

They Roasted The Passover With Fire - according to The Ordinance but

The Other Holy Offerings - sod they in pots and in caldrons and in pans and

Divided Them Speedily - among all the People.

Afterward They Made Ready For - themselves and for the Priests

Because The Priests - the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings

The Fat - until night therefore the Levites prepared for themselves and

For The Priests - the sons of Aaron.

The Singers The Sons Of Asaph - were in their place

According To The Commandment Of David - and Asaph and Heman and

Jeduthun The King's Seer - and The Porters waited at every Gate

They Might Not Depart - from their Service

For Their Brethren - the Levites prepared for them.

So All The Service Of God Was Prepared - the same day to keep The Passover and

To Offer Burnt Offerings - upon The Altar Of God

According To The Commandment - of King Josiah.

The Children Of Hebrews - that were present kept The Passover at that time and

The Feast Of Unleavened Bread - seven days.

There Was No Passover - like to that - kept in Hebrews

From The Days Of Samuel - The Prophet

Neither Did All The Kings Of Hebrews - keep such a Passover

As Josiah Kept - and

The Priests and The Levites - and all Judah and Israel that were present and

The Inhabitants - of Jerusalem.

In The Eighteenth Year Of The Reign Of Josiah - was this passover kept.

After All This When Josiah - had prepared the Temple

Necho King of Egypt - came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates and

Josiah went out - against him.

He Sent Ambassadors To Him Saying.

What Have I To Do - with thee thou King of Judah ?

I Come Not Against Thee This Day - but against the house wherewith

I Have War For God Commanded Me - to make haste

Forbear Thee From - meddling with God

Who Is With Me - that he destroy thee not.

Nevertheless Josiah - would not turn his face from him but disguised himself

That He Might Fight With Him - and

Hearkened Not To The Words Of Necho From The Mouth Of God - and

Came To Fight - in the Valley of Megiddo.

The Archers Shot At King Josiah - and

The King Said - to his Servants

Have Me Away - for I am sore wounded.

His Servants Therefore Took Him - out of that Chariot and

Put Him In The Second Chariot - That He Had and

They Brought Him - to Jerusalem and

He Died and Was Buried - in one of the sepulchres of his Fathers.

All Judah and Jerusalem Mourned - for Josiah.

Jeremiah Lamented For Josiah - and

All The Singing Men - and the singing Women.

Spake of Josiah In Their Lamentations - to this day and

Made Them An Ordinance In Hebrews - and

Behold They Are Written - in The Lamentations.

Now The Rest Of The Acts Of Josiah - and his goodness

According To That Was Written - in The Law Of God

His Deeds - first and last

Behold They Are Written - in The Book Of The Kings Of Israel and Judah.

God remember David and all his afflictions how he sware to God and

vowed to the mighty God of Jacob surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my House

nor go up into my bed

I will not give sleep to mine eyes or slumber to mine eyelids

until I find out a place for God an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

Lo we heard of it at Ephratah we found it in the fields of the wood.

We will go into his tabernacles we will worship at his footstool.

Arise O God into thy rest thou and the Ark of thy strength.

Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness and let thy saints shout for joy.

For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

God hath sworn in truth to David he will not turn from it

Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony

that I shall teach them their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

For God hath chosen Zion he hath desired it for his habitation.

This is my rest for ever here will I dwell for I have desired it.

I will abundantly bless her provision I will satisfy her poor with bread.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

There will I make the horn of David to bud I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

His enemies will I clothe with shame but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

They say If a man put away his wife and she go from him and

Become Another Man's - shall he return to her again ? shall not that land be greatly polluted ? but

Thou Hast Played The Harlot - with many lovers yet return again to me saith God.

Lift Up Thine Eyes To The High Places - and see where thou hast not been lien with.

In The Ways Hast Thou Sat - for them as the Arabian in the wilderness and

Thou Hast Polluted The Land - with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

Therefore The Showers Have Been - withholden and there hath been no latter rain and

Thou Hadst A - whore's forehead thou refusedst to be ashamed.

Wilt Thou Not From This Time - cry to me My father thou art the guide of my youth ?

Will He Reserve His Anger - for ever ? will he keep it to the end ?

Behold Thou Hast Spoken - and done evil things as thou couldest.

God Said Also To Me - in the days of Josiah the King

Hast thou seen that backsliding Israel hath done ?

She Is Gone Up - upon every high mountain and under every green tree and

There Hath Played - the harlot.

I said after she had done all these things - Turn thou to me. But she returned not.

Her Treacherous Sister - Judah saw it.

I saw when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery

I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce

yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not but went and played the harlot also.

It came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom that she defiled the land and

committed adultery with stones and with stocks

yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah

hath not turned to me with her whole heart but feignedly saith God.

God said to me The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say

Return thou backsliding Israel saith God and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you

for I am merciful saith God and I will not keep anger for ever.

Only acknowledge thine iniquity that thou hast transgressed against thy God and

hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree and

ye have not obeyed my voice saith God.

Turn O backsliding children saith God for I am married to you and

I will take you one of a city and two of a family and I will bring you to Zion.

I will give you pastors according to mine heart

that shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

It shall come to pass when ye be multiplied and increased in the land in those days

saith God they shall say no more The Ark of the Covenant of God

neither shall it come to mind neither shall they remember it neither shall they visit it

neither shall that be done any more.

At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of God and

all the nations shall be gathered to it to the name of God to Jerusalem

neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.

In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel and

they shall come together out of the land of the north - to the land

that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers.

I said How shall I put thee among the children and give thee a pleasant land

a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said

Thou shalt call me My father and shalt not turn away from me.

Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband

so have ye dealt treacherously with me O house of Israel saith God.

A voice was heard upon the high places weeping and

supplications of the Children of Israel

for they have perverted their way and they have forgotten God.

Return ye backsliding Children and I will heal your backslidings.

Behold we come to thee for thou art our God.

Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills and

From The Multitude Of Mountains - truly God is the salvation of Hebrews.

For Shame Hath Devoured - the labour of our Fathers

From Our Youth Their Flocks - and their herds their sons and their daughters.

We Lie Down In Our Shame - and our confusion covereth us

For We Have Sinned Against God - we and our fathers from our youth even to this day and

Have Not Obeyed - the voice of God.
